Creekside Pool Rule’s

Please review the following rules.  Part A is to follow COVID-19 protocols as was done in 2020.  In order to keep our pool open, these rules must be adhered to.

Warning

Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19. You are assuming this risk by entering these premises.

Those who violate the established on-site pool rules (including Part A and Part B) will have their access to the pool revoked.  Make sure to thoroughly read and understand this and the posted signage at the entrance of the pool before entering.  By entering, you are agreeing to abide by this and all posted rules.

Part A:

1. Individuals are to self enforce social distancing and sanitation.  (Bring your own wipes for use on shared items like chairs.)  Clean up after yourself.  (Your trash and personal items.)

2. Pool occupancy will be limited to no more than 80 people.  This is the normal pool occupancy.

3. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms shall not utilize the pool or amenities area.

Part B:

1. Hours of pool operation are from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm. Individuals using the pool after hours or when the pool is closed are subject to fines, loss of pool privileges and trespassing charges.  Please respect the pool committee if you are asked to leave.

2. No smoking, vaping or any tobacco use is allowed in the pool area. All smoking and the use of items must take place outside the gated area.

3. Children aged sixteen (16) years old and younger need to be accompanied by a responsible adult resident (18 years and older) at all times.

4. Individuals who wear diapers must use swim diapers in pool.

5. Do not use the pool when under the influence of alcohol.

6. No glass is permitted anywhere in or around the pool area.

7. Appropriate Swimwear is required. No jeans, cutoffs or thongs.

8. No Solo Swimming.

9. Everyone must take a shower before entering pool. Shower is located in pool area. 

Please do not allow children to play with the shower facilities.

10. Running, pushing, horseplay, diving or any conduct that may endanger the welfare of self or other members is prohibited.

11. Bikes, skateboards, motorized vehicles and roller blades are prohibited within

the fenced amenity area.

12. Individuals must get out of the pool and seek shelter during severe weather conditions. (Heavy rain, lighting, thunder and any other weather warnings.)

13. No pets allowed in the pool or pool area.

14. Food and drinks are not permitted in the pool. Food and drinks are permitted at the tables in the deck area only.  Dispose of all trash in the trash and recycling receptacles.

15. Use of personal audio equipment must be used with headphones in the pool area.

16. Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated.

17. Children’s Strollers must remain at least eight (8) feet from the pool edge.

18. Inflatable rafts should not be larger than four (3) feet in length. Boogie boards and surfboards are not permitted.

19. Do not move tables. Close umbrellas after use.

20. Sidewalk chalk must not be used in the pool area.

21. The HOA is not responsible for any valuables or personal property brought into the facility.

22. Please be mindful that bathroom floors may be slippery if wet.  Use caution.

23. Person(s) may be asked to leave the pool area if there is any condition/s or evidence/s which in the opinion of the board of directors, pool committee or property management, will jeopardize the health and safety of them or others.

24. An access key is required for each family or individual while at the pool or the amenity center.  Therefore do not hold the gate open for anyone at any time.   Individuals have been known to claim their card is not working when they are delinquent or are not a resident.  Letting in people without a pass will be subject to a fine and loss of priviledge.

25. The pool is to be enjoyed by all Creekside residents.  The pool does not get “rented out” for individuals or individuals parties.”

26.  Guests are limited to up to 4 (four) per address per day.  Responsible adult resident must accompany all guests at all times. 

All members use this facility at their own risk.

There are security cameras around the pool for the safety of the residents. If you see someone breaking a rule, or who does not live in the community, please note the time and contact the association.  If you see someone breaking the law, please call Richmond Hill Police.

An emergency phone and first aid kit are located next to the entrance gate on the fitness wall. Call 911 in case of any emergency.  The address is 55 Shelton Street.

Pool Parking Lot Permit Application

Submit to Creeksidepoolparking@gmail.com

Permit for parking is valid for the days of specified. No more than 7
consecutive days with prior written approval from the Board of Directors. Use
of the permit beyond these dates will result in towing of the vehicle if parked
at the Community Room/pool parking lot without proper approval

By submitting this application, the submitter acknowledges that the pool parking lot is a privilege subject to the
terms and conditions listed below AND on the Creekside at Richmond Hill Plantation HOA Community website.
Please allow forty-eight (48) hours from the time your application is submitted for processing.
● Homeowner must be current with all HOA dues and assessments before issuance of permit will be considered
● No vehicle may be parked in the pool parking lot for more than 7 consecutive days
● One permit issued per application — maximum of two permits per household — permit dates must coincide with each other
● Minimum of 30 days between requests for parking permits
● Issued permit is ONLY for use by homeowner/tenant or their house guests — homeowner/tenant must apply for permit
● Permit is valid only for vehicle identified on application
● Commercial vehicles are also not allowed without prior written approval of the Board of Directors. This includes RVs, trailers,
campers, watercraft’s, utility trailers, semi-trucks, oversized commercial or utility trucks, storage containers, and other vehicles
deemed to be inappropriate for residential parking by the Board of Directors.
● Future issuance of parking permit to homeowner/tenant will be suspended if privilege is abused

Creekside Welcome Letter

Welcome! Of all the subdivisions you chose to live in
Creekside and we are all happy to welcome you.
As you will soon see Creekside is a very friendly and
welcoming community for all people, children and pets.
Obviously, there are rules and certain information that a new
resident needs to know about whether you are a homeowner or
a renter. The purpose of this newsletter is to help you get
acclimated with your new neighborhood and help to answer any
questions you may not even have thought about yet.


Creekside HOA is governed with an elected Board of
Directors and a management company that follows Governing
Documents, Bi-laws, Covenant Guidelines and policies.


This wealth of information is available for you to familiarize
yourself and can be found in your Sentry Management
homeowner portal ( www.sentrymgt.com ) as well as on the
community website at www.creeksideRH.com under the
Documents>Governing Documents section.

Be sure to look at the Community Architectural and
Maintenance Standards for adding a fence, a swing set, and or
making any other kinds of external alterations. This information
will inform you if an ARC approval request form is needed first.

Creekside is a unique community. Our Community Center
is located at 55 Shelton Street. There you will find our swimming
pool and the tot lot is located on the right side of the building.
Pool season runs from April 1 through September 30. Normal
pool hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The exercise room with
weights, treadmills, elliptical trainers and stationary bicycles is available for your enjoyment between the hours of 6 a.m.
through 10 p.m. Please note that these hours may be subject to
change from time to time. To access these amenities you will
need to have a white access card that we refer to as the pool
card. Hopefully, your previous owner transferred that card to you
when you got your house keys. To activate your key, please
contact us at creeksidepoolkeyactivate@gmail.com . If you did
not get a pool key card, monthly pool key activation is done on
the first Tuesday of each month in the community room. Please
be sure to register under events on our Facebook page
Creekside at Richmond Hill Plantation Board of Directors so we
know to expect you. All addresses receive one free card. There
is a $50 charge if you need an additional or replacement card.

Access to the Creekside Central Park is on the path
located between 210 and 230 Smoke Rise Road. You will see
an open space in the center. Please be mindful of the
homeowners’ private property around the park. Be sure to take
a left on the path and walk down to our pier and dock. There
truly is a creek in Creekside!

Our private Facebook group is Creekside at Richmond Hill
Plantation Community. Be sure to send us a request to include
you in the group. To expedite your request, include your name
and address and be sure to follow the page rules. This group will
also give you links to the Board of Directors page; Creekside at
Richmond Hill Plantation Board of Directors. Other helpful
Facebook groups are Richmond Hill Community Information and
Richmond Hill Community. Both of which will help you feel
connected to Richmond Hill and the surrounding area.

Pool and Gym Hours

Pool season is 1 April – 31 Sep of each year.

  • Operating hours are 8am to 8pm daily.

Gym is open all year around.

  • Gym Hours are 6am to 10pm daily.

Bathroom Hours are 8 am to 8 pm.

  • Bathroom is cleaned once a week from 1 Oct to 31 Mar and twice a week from 1 April to 31 Sep.

Hours are subject to change with Board of Directors approval. Any changes in the posted hours will be emailed out to homeowners and posted on the Community website and Facebook Group.

Pool/Gym Key Card Activation

Please find the Pool Key Card Activation Form in the document section under applications of this webpage; please download the form to a computer (form doesn’t work well on mobile devices) and fill out the form completely and email a copy of it to: creeksidepoolkeyactivate@gmail.com. This form is only to be used if you currently have a pool key card. If you are new to the community or have lost your key card please email the Board at the email address below. Once the information from the form is recorded in the system you will receive and email back stating you are good to go.

For Homeowners that have lost or do not have a pool key in their possession please attend on of our Pool Key Card Activation event to get issued one.
